At Northern Waves Swim School, every lesson is either a private or semi-private/small group. This ensures our team can create lessons best suited for your child’s needs.
These small class sizes ensure your child gets the most of their time in the pool, while being supervised by only experienced lifeguards or instructors at all times. Each class runs for a half hour over the course of two weeks, with one make up day. There are a total of 8 lessons planned, weather permitting. Classes run Monday to Thursday, at a consistent time of your choice. Friday’s are the rain date, if needed. Lessons run rain or shine, however when thunderstorms occur that will be a cancelled lesson. We are more than happy to teach swimmers at our Newmarket location, or we can come to you!
Upon registration, we require full payment, completed registration form, and a signed terms and conditions form. This guarantees that your date and time is secured. If you wish to cancel or move your session to a different date once you have paid, we have a 30 day full refund policy. Late cancellation fees may apply if less than 30 days notice is given.
On the first day of lessons, you are asked to bring the remainder of the payment, registration package, and if possible your child’s previous report cards.
Prices at Our Pool:
Due to increased volume our prices have increased slightly.
$275 per student for private lessons.
$235 per student for semi-private lessons for up to 3 students per class.
MINI Sessions:
We have decided to add a mini session option if you choose to do 4 class ONLY over 5 days, one day for rain days.
$165 / per student mini session private
$135/ per student mini session semi-private
At Your Pool:
Same session rates apply. For this season, given the current gas prices we are charging a Travel Fee just to cover the transportation to your location.
Travel Fees will vary depending on your location.
